“Our Beginnings…”

“What can I do to help?”

Our Benefactor couldn’t sleep with the excitement of the idea. She had been witness to many of the small businesses of her hometown shuttering their storefronts during the imposed shutdowns of the Covid-19 crisis and knew in more cases than she would hope, many would never reopen. “What can I do to help?” she understood that it wasn’t just simple donation for help with one months rental cost that would sustain these businesses, the world was truly changing. What would one months rent do for a business if the situation remained the same? She decided that the solution was to enable small businesses to survive by giving them access to the modern tools necessary to do so; bring them online, provide them strategic and modern advertising, make sure they are fluent in social media.

She put up her own money to begin helping small businesses first with those along the historical avenues of Newport Beach and San Clemente.

This description of The Churchill Projects beginnings is being written by a web designer building and updating websites for the small businesses of Balboa Island and it is his opinion that the intentions and efforts will be responsible for helping them cross into this, the new era of business, intact and successful.

And why the name The Churchill Project? Simple…

“NEVER, NEVER, EVER GIVE UP.”

Family - At the center of my universe is my faith in God, along with my twoyear old son and my wife of three years. As parishioner’s the St. Bartholomew church in Long Beach, we believe in community, inclusion, sports and recreational activities as a therapy for veterans with PTSD. As a patriot, I do everything for veterans in the name of my father, and grandfather who served under admiral Nimitz for 29 years.

Community - As a leader in the community, I have spent the past few decades supporting non-profit businesses. Currently, I serve as Service Projects Chair for Newport Beach Sunrise Rotary, Chair of Special Projects for the Van Rox Foundation, Supporter for HINRI Foundation, Co-Founder of the Grant Center, Sponsor and supporter for Warrior Built Foundation, Sponsor and supporter for High School Inc. During Covid19, I provided support to for-profit businesses with the tools for: PPP, EIDL, Main Street Lending, and now with the Churchill Project, it gives me a way to give back to the local business community. Pay it Forward.

Work Experience - As an 18 year veteran working in the banking and mortgage industry I have been fortunate to coach thousands of individuals and businesses through anything financially related. As the holder of both NMLS SAFE 223111 and California DRE 02100197 I am able to walk clients through residential, commercial, SBA, and various lines of credit transactions.
